Sulabh Private Industrial Training Institute is one of the renowned and reputed wings of Sulabh International Centre for Action Sociology. The institute is being affiliated to Directorate of Training and Technical Education NCT Govt. of Delhi under NCVT Course since 2002 with two trades, namely, Stenography (English) and Sewing Technology. The institute has intake capacity of 20 students in each trade during the academic session.

The objective for running these two ITI affiliated trades is to empower the trainees so that they can either earn their livelihood independently or prepare themselves to grab the job opportunities within stipulated time.

Nearly 400 trainees have passed out from the institute with flying colors and are leading a prestigious lifestyle by exhibiting their innovative ideas and talents in corporate sectors.

The institute runs from 10 am to 5pm on all working days. In the institute trainees have to strictly follow the code of conduct laid down by the institute. This is to inculcate the sensibility of responsibility along with technical empowerment.

 

Trainees are being admitted to Trade-Stenography (English) who have qualified 12th std from any recognized Board. In this trade, trainees complete their course in Typing (English), Shorthand (English), Information Technology (Basic), Social Science and English.

And, whereas for the Trade-Sewing Technology, trainees who have passed 8th std from any recognized institute are admitted. During the course session, trainees take up classes in cutting and stitching (Theory and Practical), Information Technology (Basic), Social Science and English.

After the completion of course, trainees appear in Trade Examination, both in theory and practical, conducted by Directorate of Training and Technical Education NCT Govt. of Delhi. The qualified trainees are provided certificate endorsed by competent authority.
