Boeing Team’s Inspiring Visit to Sulabh Public School

On November 12, 2024, Sulabh Public School welcomed a distinguished delegation from Boeing and representatives from the US government, bringing excitement and hope to the campus. Dr. Prem Kumar, Chairman of SISASSS, opened with inspiring remarks on Sulabh’s commitment to societal advancement, followed by Mr. Kumar Dilip, Sulabh International's President, who expressed gratitude for Boeing's collaboration in creating opportunities for students.

A highlight of the visit was a tour of the new STEM lab, funded by Boeing’s “Sukanya Project,” where students showcased innovative projects like obstacle-detecting robots. Adjacent to the lab, younger students explored the “Room to Read” library, also supported by Boeing, fostering a love for learning and creativity.

Ms. Praveena Yagnambhat, Boeing’s Chief of Staff for India and South Asia, and Mr. Salil Gupte, President of Boeing India, inspired students with their words, emphasizing the transformative power of education and encouraging bold dreams for India’s future. Similarly, Ms. Nancy Izzo Jackson, Deputy Assistant Secretary, highlighted the U.S. government’s dedication to empowering India’s youth, underscoring the importance of equal opportunities.

Sulabh leaders, including Mr. Kumar Dilip and Dr. Sutirtha Sahariah, celebrated Boeing’s partnership, thanking them for advancing education and aligning with SDG 4. The day concluded with a vote of thanks, a group photograph, and a shared commitment to providing every child with opportunities to learn, grow, and thrive.
